Lavender has a floral, slightly sweet flavor which can be added to poultry and other meat dishes, salads, soups, desserts, cheeses, baked goods, or in beverages such as herbal teas and lavender lemonade.
SLEEPY TIME TEA RECIPE - about 1/2 teaspoon lavender to boiling water. Let steep for about 5 minutes. You may also add chamomile and your favorite caffeine-free tea. Wonderful sleep aid. You can also mix lavender with Earl Grey Tea or chamomile flowers.
